In Krasnodar, two children were taken to intensive care after eating candies

In Krasnodar on the evening of February 18, an eight-year-old girl and her six-year-old brother felt a sharp deterioration of health after dinner and eaten lollipops on a stick, the children were hospitalized. This was reported by the press service of the main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region in its Telegram-channel.

The children were visiting their great-grandparents. Around midnight, the minors became ill, they called an ambulance and were urgently taken to the hospital. Medics promptly provided the necessary assistance, and law enforcement officers began to check the circumstances of the incident.

After treatment, the condition of the victims stabilized, and they have already been discharged home.

It is currently being investigated whether the consumed lollipop could have provoked a worsening of the condition of the children.

Earlier, on February 14, it was reported about mass poisoning in a hostel in the south of Moscow, near the metro station "Nagatinskaya". Initially it was about 40 victims, but later their number increased to 70.
