Russian Grids spoke about key projects in the Samara Region

"Russian Grids" will allocate 8.8 billion rubles for the modernization and development of power grids in the Samara Region. This was announced by the company's CEO Andrey Ryumin at a meeting with Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.
"Samara region is historically one of the main industrial centers of the Volga region, and in recent years has also paid great attention to the development of logistics infrastructure, creating opportunities for the growth of innovative business. A key factor in solving these tasks is reliable power supply," Ryumin noted.
Among the key projects for this and next year he named modernization of networks for power supply of new residential districts and industrial consumers in the north of Samara, construction of a 110 kV supply center for the special economic zone "Togliatti".
Fedorishchev believes that by strengthening the strategic partnership between Rosseti and the Samara Region government, the efficiency of energy supply is improving in the region. "The company's subsidiary, Rosseti Volga, is represented in the Samara Region by the Samara Distribution Grids branch. Since January 1, it has been functioning as a backbone territorial grid organization. This will make it possible to strengthen the work on consolidation of power facilities in the region and solve the problem of ownerless grids," the governor noted.
ROSSETI said that in the future it is planned to reconstruct power facilities in such large cities of the region as Kinel and Syzran. In addition, a set of measures is being worked out for the expansion of the M-5 "Ural" highway. Previously, the specialists have rearranged power grids as part of the construction of the Volga Bridge and the Togliatti Bypass highway. The road is part of the Europe-Western China international corridor.
