Sobyanin named advanced technologies patented in Moscow

A powerful ecosystem for inventors has been created in Moscow. Companies not only patent developments, but also attract financing on the security of intellectual property, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his official Telegram channel.

For example, DS-Robotics has patented a modular self-propelled robotic cart that automatically transports cargo. In addition, the company has created and implemented Russia's first robotic module for the production of microelectronics.

NEIRY develops neurodevices that read brain signals. They are used in 45 countries - from medicine to aviation. For example, the technology is already being used at the Professions of the Future center for career guidance for adults and children aged 14 and older.

"Low Carbon Technology Development Center" creates technologies for processing plant raw materials into analogs of petroleum products, which are used to create aviation fuel. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 80%.

Almost half of all patents registered in the capital in 2024 belong to the participants of the Moscow Innovation Cluster.

The city has a support system in place: grants of up to 5 million rubles per year for patenting in Russia and abroad, soft loans secured by intellectual property, educational programs on intellectual property management and technology commercialization, and the "IP packaging" service that helps companies form a rights management strategy, including for attracting financing.
