Six batches of infected coniferous wood were found in Lesosibirsk. The goods in the volume of 665 cubic meters turned out to be infested with dangerous insects, the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor for Krasnoyarsk Krai reported on Wednesday, February 19.

In softwood lumber revealed the presence of quarantine forest pests: black pine whisker, big spruce whisker and Ussurian polygraph. This was confirmed by laboratory tests, writes IA KrasnoyarskMedia.

The products were intended for export to China and CIS countries. The owner of the wood was ordered to eliminate violations. According to the results of the inspection, the goods are waiting for phytosanitary disinfection, after which they will be sent to their destination.
