Five Russians are among the top 25 NHL hockey players of the XXI century according to Daily Faceoff

Journalist Matt Larkin published the top 25 NHL hockey players of the last 25 years in an article for the Daily Faceoff on February 18.

The list includes five Russian athletes. Among them is Aleksey Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals, who is in second place. In addition to him, the rating included Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins, who took sixth place. Seventh place was given to Nikita Kucherov, who plays for Tampa Bay Lightning. Pavel Datsyuk is in 20th place, and Andrei Vasilevskiy is in 22nd place.

The first place of the list was given to Sidney Crosby, who plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the last place - to Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings.
