Nine illegal dumps were removed in Krasnodar in the current 2025 year. Four cars that stored garbage there, sent to the impound lot, said the mayor of the city Evgeny Naumov in his Telegram on Wednesday, February 19.

"Just one camera at the container site in the Prikubansky district recorded seven facts of illegal dumping of construction waste. The videos have been transferred to the police," - wrote the mayor.

According to him, now at modernization of container grounds at once creates infrastructure for online surveillance. He also called the activity of local residents, who send messages about illegal dumping of waste, a great help for the authorities.

As Naumov noted, joint raids with the police continue. He urged to punish "gray trash collectors" with rubles, as it is useless to press their conscience, writes IA KrasnodarMedia.

Earlier in February it was reported that regional authorities will have to eliminate unauthorized garbage dumps, if the culprits of their occurrence can not be identified. This is stated in the draft law prepared with the participation of the Russian Environmental Operator (REO).
