Two people were injured in an explosion on a drilling rig in the Tyumen Region

An explosion of a gas drilling rig occurred at the Radonezhskoye field in the Tyumen Region. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on February 19.

The incident occurred on the night of February 17-18.

A source in the law enforcement agencies said that there was an unexpected release of gas, it caught fire, resulting in an explosion on the gas drilling derrick.

Emergency Situations Ministry employees who arrived on the scene promptly extinguished the fire. Two people were injured, they received burns to their hands and face.

Earlier, on February 18, in Yekaterinburg on the territory of a covered garage complex there was a fire with a subsequent explosion of a gas cylinder. A 35-year-old man was hospitalized from the scene.
