"Donbass Dome" thwarted an AFU attack on a water pumping station in the DNR

The Donbass Dome air defense and electronic warfare system intercepted a drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) targeting a water pumping station near the city of Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the Republican Defense Headquarters on February 18.

It is stated that later it was possible to identify the place of the drone's fall - explosion technicians of the Russian Federal Security Service arrived there. Employees of the agency neutralized the combat part of the downed device, disconnected its controls and detonated a superimposed charge.

"There were no casualties among civilians and damage to infrastructure," the Defense Headquarters noted.

Earlier, on February 17, Russia's FSB directorate in the DNR reported that the Donbass Dome had intercepted 193 AFU drones over Donetsk and Makeyevka over the past week.
