The new school in Zheleznovodsk will have an orchard

The first school garden with fruit trees will appear in Zheleznovodsk (Stavropol Territory). It will be planted in a new educational institution in the Kapelnitsa microdistrict, the press service of the city administration reported on Wednesday, February 19.

The garden will be tended by students together with teachers, writes IA StavropolMedia. The harvest will be given to the school canteen.

"Work in the garden will help to develop labor education among young residents of our district. Moreover, it will be doubly pleasant to drink compote from fruits that you have grown yourself," said Mayor Yevgeny Bakulin.

The administration added that it is necessary to organize school gardens throughout the region. In 2025, the relevant decree of the regional government will come into force.

Earlier in February it was reported that on one of the streets of the village Inozemtsevo in Zheleznovodsk will open an automobile passage after 30 years. The road leads to the museum, for many years it was blocked with concrete blocks.
