The "Picture in Picture" mode became available to users of the web version of VK Video

VK Video service has launched a new feature in the web version of the platform - picture-in-picture mode. This was reported on February 19 in the press service of VK.

Now users can view videos without distracting from other tasks, using a mini player.

A button in the player settings will allow you to activate the "picture-in-picture" mode, which will move the video to a separate window. The mini player can be displayed both on top of the browser and other windows on the desktop, which provides maximum convenience when multitasking, the press service pointed out.

In the mini-player you can control the clip: pause, resume viewing or return to the tab by clicking on the video. In addition, you can change the window size and move it around the screen.

On February 17, it was reported that since its official release in September 2023, the VK Video app has been downloaded 60 million times on mobile devices and Android TV.
