The Bank of Russia will oblige banks to introduce a "special button" in applications to complain about fraudulent actions. This was announced by the head of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina at the forum on cyber fraud on February 19.

According to her, it is necessary to simplify the filing of applications to the bank about fraud.

"Now it is not such a simple procedure. For this purpose, for example, we plan to oblige banks to introduce a so-called 'special button' in their applications from October, so that victims do not have to go to a bank branch," she said.

She added that people who have suffered from fraudulent actions could directly in the application of the bank to file a statement about fraud and there online to get all the necessary information and reference for appealing to the police.

Nabiullina specified that most people do not turn to the police or the bank when fraudulent actions have occurred against them.

Earlier, on February 18, experts of the Solar JSOC center of counteraction to cyberattacks of the Solar Group reported that the number of cyberattacks on the financial sector for the year increased by one third and reached 9 thousand. The greatest threat to the industry are attempts to scan internal networks for cyberintelligence purposes, exploitation of vulnerabilities and infection with malicious software (software).
