Two tourists disappeared during an avalanche in North Ossetia

An avalanche came down in the mountains of North Ossetia. Two tourists who were in the Tanadon Gorge at the time stopped communicating.
Telegram-channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that seven rescuers have been sent to the area. There is no other information about the incident yet.
Ura.ru news agency writes that the last time an avalanche in the area was recorded in the late 1980s.
In late January it was reported that an avalanche hit six cars and a Sprinter minibus in Kyrgyzstan. It happened in the Chui region at the 132nd km of the Bishkek - Osh highway in two places at once, and the volume of snow mass amounted to 3.5 thousand cubic meters. Emergencies Ministry staff rescued four people from a car completely trapped under the avalanche.
