Russians revealed the amount spent on gifts for February 23


About half of the surveyed Russians - 47% - will spend up to Br3 thousand on gifts for February 23. This follows from the results of a survey by Post Bank, "Izvestia" read on February 20.
22% of respondents will allocate Br3 thousand to Br5 thousand and more than Br10 thousand for these purposes, respectively. Another 9% planned to spend from Br5 thousand to Br10 thousand.
At the same time, 42% of respondents consider this holiday to be exclusively male. The rest expressed the opinion that women, who have devoted themselves to protecting the interests of their country, should also be congratulated. At the same time, 51% of Russians take into account the wishes of the gifted when choosing gifts, 40% try to improvise and only 9% always prepare surprises.
Thus, Russian women plan to buy perfumes and cosmetics, as well as clothes and accessories as a gift. Men will give what they would like to receive themselves: perfume, money or tools. At the same time, only 12% of survey participants said that they do not need a gift at all.
According to the bank's assessment, Russians have recently been choosing useful and practical gifts. However, the budget is often not so important, because mostly on this day they try to pay attention to their relatives, colleagues and friends. Thus, most often congratulate on the Defender of the Fatherland Day a husband or a loved one, a father, as well as close relatives. Among women on this day honored relatives, girlfriends and mothers.
Earlier, on February 19, it was reported that almost half of the surveyed (47%) citizens consider shopping certificates the most successful gift for male colleagues on gender holidays. This is stated in the results of a study of the service "Work.ru" and fintech company YuMoney. Treats and sweets - the second most popular option: it was chosen by 35% of respondents. The third line is thematic souvenirs (28%).
