Medvedchuk recalled warning that the West would "shoot Zelensky in the back"

The chairman of the council of the Other Ukraineorganization, Viktor Medvedchuk, has said that he warned as early as 2023 about the "shot in the back" that Kiev would receive from its "allies". He published the corresponding opinion in his author's column on the platform "Smotrim.ru" on February 19.

"Ukraine's [President Vladimir] Zelensky (term of office expired on May 20, 2024) will definitely get his shot in the back from the 'allies', since Washington has already achieved the main goals of this conflict," Medvedchuk wrote, recalling that he said this back in 2023.

In an article from 2023, Medvedchuk added that the war was profitable for the US, as the country is enriching itself on it, as it had previously enriched itself on two world wars.

"Therefore, we go from the principle of 'who benefits'. And it is favorable to the US, which is already enriching itself on this war, as previously enriched on two world wars. <...> Biden himself called support for the war in Ukraine an "investment." It turns out that he treats Zelensky's Nazism like an investor," Medvedchuk wrote at the time.

According to Medvedchuk, Zelensky does not understand why now he has no weight in Washington, and Ukraine, due to the incompetence of its leader, will soon cease to exist.

"Zelensky does not understand why today no one counts with him in Washington. And after all, if only Zelensky was deceived, but so the whole country was let down by his mercy. Because of his incompetence, huge ego and impenetrable stupidity Ukraine is living its last months of existence. And this is not a forecast, but a statement of fact," he added.

Earlier, on February 12, Medvedchuk called Zelensky a cover for the West's corruption schemes. He added that the creators of these schemes know that Zelenskyy will not sign the peace agreement voluntarily, because in addition to a political sentence for the president, a change of position will be a punishment for his crimes against the Ukrainian people.
