The process of returning American companies to Russia will not be easy, as many niches have already been occupied by other companies. This was announced by Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), on February 19.

According to him, the return of US companies is expected already in the second half of 2025.

"RDIF expects the return of a number of US companies to the Russian market already in the second quarter of 2025. But the process of return for US companies will not be easy, as many niches have already been occupied," he told TASS.

Earlier, on February 18, Dmitriev said that American business has lost more than $300 billion due to the withdrawal from the Russian market and therefore it is important for Washington to establish economic contacts with Moscow. The RDIF CEO emphasized that the Russian market is very attractive, and the restoration of dialog will help solve a large number of global tasks and problems.
