Russians plan to give edible bouquets on February 23rd


On February 23, Russians are increasingly choosing edible bouquets of sausages, cheese or seafood. On February 19, Veronica Peretyagina, head of partner relations at Flowwow flowers and gifts marketplace, told Gazeta.Ru.
According to Flowwow, over the past three years, the demand for edible bouquets on the eve of February 23 doubled. Thus, last year on the eve of the holiday sales of edible compositions on the marketplace grew 14.6 times.
It is specified that an edible bouquet usually includes several varieties of delicacies, decoration in the form of vegetables or greens, as well as bread. Compositions can be packed in a box or even a mug.
According to Peretyatyana, bouquets of sausages and cheese are the most popular among Russians. However, there are also sets of burgers, seafood and sweets.
On average, in February 2025, sales of edible compositions on the marketplace grew 14.2% year-on-year, so that an edible bouquet will cost Russians about 4.38 thousand rubles.
Russians on February 19 named popular gifts for male colleagues on February 23. Almost half of the surveyed (47%) Russians consider shopping certificates as the most successful gift for male colleagues on gender holidays. Treats and sweets are the second most popular option: it was chosen by 35% of respondents.
