Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin approved the project of pedestrian space under the Small Stone Bridge on February 19.

"For the convenience of walking in the historical center of Moscow: a new route will appear on Balchug Island," he informed in his Telegram channel.

In addition to approving the project of pedestrian space under the Small Kamenny Bridge, Sobyanin plans to connect the sections of Bolotnaya Embankment divided by Serafimovicha Street and equip four embankment exits with stairs and ramps for citizens with low mobility.

According to the mayor, as a result it will be possible to walk from Bolotnaya Square to the movie theater "Udarnik" and the house of culture HPP-2 twice as fast.

"A single pedestrian route linking Vorobyovy Gory, Gorky Park, Krymskaya Embankment and Balchug Island will be completed," Sobyanin concluded.

On February 17, Sobyanin spoke about the restoration of the Valuevo estate and the Loskov house in Moscow. The estate is also working on the preservation of the main gate with sculptures. In total, 10 objects of cultural heritage will be put in order on the territory of Valuevo. The design of most of them is currently underway.
