US Army servicemen do not plan to leave the territory of Europe. This was reported by US President Donald Trump in a conversation with journalists.

"Nobody is asking to do it, so I don't think we need to do it. I wouldn't want to do it," he stated.

At the same time, the American leader noted that he has nothing against the introduction of the European military in Ukraine.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called the deployment of NATO peacekeepers in Ukraine unacceptable. He noted that the Russian side at the meeting reminded its US counterparts that Russian President Vladimir Putin had repeatedly pointed out that NATO's expansion with the absorption of Ukraine was a direct threat to Russia's interests and sovereignty.
