American billionaire and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of the United States Ilon Musk will not be admitted to government programs in case of a conflict of interest, including in the space industry. This was stated by US President Donald Trump during a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida on February 19.

"I said to Ilon: any conflicts of interest - and you can't do it. So if it involves even the space program, we're not going to let Ilon get involved in that," he informed.

Nevertheless, Trump shared with reporters that he considers Musk an unqualified patriot of the United States.

Earlier, Trump said about the attempts of the US press to quarrel him with Musk. In an interview with Fox News Channel, Trump and Musk said that the people of the United States are smart, they realize that the presidential administration and DOGE are actually working together to reduce excessive spending by the federal government.
