In Yekaterinburg, a fire with a subsequent explosion of a gas cylinder occurred on the territory of a covered garage complex. One person was injured, Ura.ru news agency reported citing an eyewitness.

The incident occurred in the evening on Tuesday, February 18, in a covered garage complex on Anna Bychkova Street. A 35-year-old man was hospitalized from the scene.

"In the twin box the owner was doing repair work, he had a mini-service there. There was a spillage of liquid, and then a fire with a cylinder slam," - quotes the news agency the words of the interlocutor.

The victim was taken to hospital number 40. He was diagnosed with burns of 25% of the body.

The press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations told Ura.ru that a passenger car burned down in a garage box. The area of the fire amounted to 10 square meters, 20 people and six units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The agency source noted that the work of firefighters was complicated by heavy smoke on the second floor of the garage complex.

February 16, a gas cylinder explosion with subsequent fire occurred in a cafe in the village of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region. Six people were injured, all of them were hospitalized.
