Events of the Future Technologies Forum kicked off in Moscow

The Future Technologies Forum, which will be held on February 20-21, 2025 in Moscow, will bring together leading Russian and foreign scientists, industry leaders, technology entrepreneurs and experts. The main theme of the Forum is "New Materials and Chemistry".

"Technological leadership - the national goal of the Russian Federation - can only be achieved through an innovation economy, where the continuous process of developing and introducing breakthrough technologies into production is a priority. New materials and chemistry serve as the foundation for a multitude of industries, and their innovative development ensures leadership in other areas. During the Future Technologies Forum, participants will discuss mechanisms to support the new materials industry, which will further stimulate domestic consumption of high-tech products and support innovative development of the entire economy," said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Future Technologies Forum Organizing Committee.

On February 18-19, on the eve of the Forum, a scientific conference "Materials of Future Technologies" is held, where leading scientists engaged in the search, synthesis, testing and application of new materials in promising developments present their research.

Last year, more than 1,800 people from 19 countries took part in the Forum. This year the participants will discuss key issues and prospects of development of the industry of new materials and chemistry, the most important innovation directions and investment-attractive projects. As part of the event, the largest Russian corporations, science-intensive businesses and scientific organizations will present advanced technological developments at the exhibition.

The Forum program includes discussions on technological and scientific priorities of the industry, investment in current projects and expansion of production, personnel training, improvement of regulation and other significant aspects. The events are attended by experts, scientists, suppliers and manufacturers, providing a comprehensive view of the industry's future.

The Future Technology Forum will conclude by summarizing the results and formulating proposals for the development of the new materials and chemistry industry.
