Also in the United States believes that President Donald Trump is the only leader who will be able to achieve a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
"The United States wants peace and uses its power to unite countries. President Trump is the only leader in the world who can get Ukraine and Russia to agree to this," the statement said.
It is specified that cooperation on geopolitical and economic issues will be further explored between the countries.
Talks between the delegations of Russia and the United States were held in one of the palaces of the royal family in Riyadh on Tuesday, February 18. At their conclusion, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that the meeting of the heads of state is unlikely to take place next week. At the same time, he specified that the conditions for its holding were discussed at the talks.
The CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Kirill Dmitriev, said on the same day that US business had lost more than $300bn due to the withdrawal from the Russian market, which is actually very attractive for work, and therefore it is extremely important for Washington to establish contacts with Moscow.
