Accused of killing her son in Perm stabbed him 35 times

A resident of Perm, who left a suitcase with the body of her murdered nine-year-old son, stabbed the child 35 times with a household knife. This was reported in court on February 18 by senior prosecutor Svetlana Plotnikova, RIA Novosti reports.

"Death came from mechanical asphyxia <...> Detected bodily injuries in the face and neck: two unevenly expressed vestibular strangulation furrows with signs of compression", - indicated in court.

It is noted that the examination of the child's body revealed wounds in the chest area, which were inflicted with a kitchen knife after the death of the boy. It is specified that most of the blows inflicted came in the same place.

In July last year in the Leninsky district of Perm found a suitcase with the corpse of a child. The deceased showed signs of violent death and stabbing wounds to the body, as well as symptoms of asphyxiation. The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case under part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor or other person known to the perpetrator to be in a helpless state"). Later the investigation established that the suspect in the murder is 34-year-old resident of Perm Irina Shatova. The victim of the nine-year-old child was her son.

The woman was detained. She was charged, the accused admitted her guilt. As the investigation established, the woman strangled her child, after which she left stab wounds on his body.
