The Knowledge.Prize award ceremony will be held on February 27

The National Center "Russia" in Moscow will host the fourth award ceremony of the educational award Znanie.Primya, the flagship project of the Russian society "Znanie". On February 27, the names of 31 laureates who became the best according to the decision of the Honorary Jury and the results of the popular vote will be announced. 111,367 people from all over the country cast their votes for the nominees.

The broadcast of the ceremony will be available on the Znanie.Prize website and in the community of the Russian Society "Znanie" in VKontakte. Outstanding state and public figures will award educators, projects and companies in 21 nominations. The concert program will include performances by honored artists of Russia, famous ballet dancers and musicians.

"Quite soon the Znanie Society will gather 109 strongest educators from 26 Russian regions, as well as from Argentina, USA and Slovakia. The composition of the nominees is strikingly diverse: from school staff to heads of regions and People's Artists of Russia. The nominees received the votes of 111 thousand Russians, and very soon we will know the winners, their achievements will be recognized by the first persons of the country. The ceremony of awarding the main educational award of Russia will traditionally be bright and large-scale. This is how we want to emphasize the importance of the work of educators, their contribution to the development of Russia and its people, " said Maxim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Society "Znanie".

The award in each nomination is a cube symbolizing the essence of enlightenment in different areas. The winner of the nomination "For contribution to enlightenment in the sphere of "Culture and Art" will receive a cube made of material stylized as marble, which has been used in works of art since antiquity. And the winner of the nomination "For Contribution to the Preservation of Family Values" will receive a cube made of oak, symbolizing strength, wisdom, stability and durability. In the nomination "People's Choice" - a cube made of mirror material symbolizing the reflection of the opinions of Russian citizens who took part in the voting for the best educator and educational project of the year.
