Belousov changed the procedure for compensating contract workers in lieu of extra vacation

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov signed an order, which provides for changes in the procedure for payment of monetary compensation to the military instead of additional rest, provided for the performance of tasks without restrictions on the duration of service time. This was reported in the press service of the department on February 18.

"Thanks to changes in the order, a serviceman under contract will be able to receive monetary compensation on a monthly basis," - stated in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the payment can be made simultaneously with the allowance without waiting for the end of the assignment or regardless of whether the soldier has finished the performance of service tasks.

Previously, servicemen could expect to receive compensation only after the completion of tasks and return from a business trip.

On February 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on indexation of pensions for military pensioners by 9.5% from January 1, 2025. According to the law, the amount of allowances will increase to 93.59%.
