In 2025, the plan for grain production in Russia is 170 million tons. This was announced by Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut at the plenary session of the III International Forum "Global Grain and Pulses Forum 2025" on February 18.

"This year Russia puts the plan for grain production at 170 million tons, and the export potential should be 80 million tons minimum," Lut said.

The minister recalled that last year Russia supplied 72 million tons of grain to foreign markets, of which 54 million was wheat.

According to the minister, Russia had a very good harvest for several years in a row, but in 2024 it managed to harvest slightly less than in the previous two years due to climatic conditions: about 130 million tons.
