CPC station in Krasnodar Krai seriously damaged after AFU attack


An oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in the Krasnodar region has been seriously damaged as a result of a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This is reported on February 18 on the website of Transneft.
"As a result of the attack, the facility was seriously damaged: the roof was destroyed, the closed switchgear, gas turbine unit (GTU) was damaged, cables and cable trestle, water tank were also hit," - stated in the statement.
It is specified that two transformers, filters and fire extinguishing system of GTU were also destroyed.
It is noted that the consequences will be eliminated for about two months. This may lead to a reduction in oil pumping from Kazakhstan by 30%.
Earlier, February 17, it became known that in the Krasnodar region drones attacked the oil pumping station of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium. It was specified that there were no casualties among the staff. The workers were able to prevent the threat of an oil spill.
Later, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the AFU attack on the oil pumping station was a desperate strike by Kiev against US companies and US leader Donald Trump personally.
