An emergency sports and shooting complex will be repaired in Khabarovsk

In Khabarovsk, repairs began in the sports and shooting complex. In 2023, the building was recognized as an emergency building. The construction block of the regional government and the regional Ministry of Sports promised to bring the facility back to life.
Specialists noted that a strong subsidence of two staircases was recorded, so with the arrival of warming it is necessary to study the condition of the foundation. According to Governor Dmitry Demeshin, quoted by AmurMedia news agency, it is possible to start current repairs now, and major repairs later.
The governor noted that the shooting complex was very popular among athletes, not only amateurs, but also professionals. Wrestlers and weightlifters also practiced in the complex. Therefore, it should be returned to the residents.
Earlier it was reported that in Khabarovsk Krai in 2025 it is planned to improve more than 70 public areas. They were chosen by the residents of the region themselves within the framework of the all-Russian voting. Among these spaces are embankments, squares, parks and public gardens. The works will take place within the framework of the federal project "Formation of Comfortable Urban Environment" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". 365 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes, the majority of which (354 million rubles) the region will receive from the federal budget.
