American entrepreneur and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Ilon Musk suspected the disappearance of the U.S. gold reserve from Fort Knox. On February 18, he wrote in the social network X (formerly Twitter).

"Who can confirm that the gold wasn't stolen from Fort Knox? Maybe it's there, maybe it's not," Musk pointed out.

He added that the gold belongs to the U.S. public, so they should know it's still there.

Earlier, on February 17, Musk's team asked citizens to denounce the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
