A resident of the Chelyabinsk region started a fire and attacked the rescuers who came to the scene

In the Chelyabinsk region, a local resident started a fire and attacked the arriving EMERCOM rescuers. This was reported on February 18 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the region in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the man, presumably, being under the influence of narcotic substances, set a fire himself, and then attacked with a cold weapon on the rescuers who arrived to extinguish the fire.

"The head of the agency [Alexander Bastrykin] instructed to open a criminal case over the fact of a man's attack on EMERCOM employees in the Chelyabinsk region," the statement said.

On this fact, the investigative authorities are conducting a check.

Earlier, on February 16, in the village of Khuchni Tabasaran district of Dagestan, the driver of a passenger car opened fire on police officers. It was noted that during the arrest the order violator was wounded. A check is being conducted.
