In Novosibirsk, a man kidnapped his six-year-old son in front of his mother. This was reported on February 18 in the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) of Russia in the Novosibirsk region.

"On one of the streets in the Central district of the city of Novosibirsk, a 40-year-old man in the presence of his ex-wife abducted their six-year-old son. Acting in conjunction with other currently unidentified persons, the man put the child in a car and took him away in an unknown direction," - said in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

It is specified that on the fact of the incident was initiated a criminal case on the signs of a crime under p. "a, e" part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Kidnapping of a minor by a group of persons").

Investigators of the regional IC and officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are continuing the investigation.

On February 15, a resident of Yekaterinburg was detained on suspicion of kidnapping a 15-year-old girl. According to one version, the girl was waiting for her father in the car, when the man opened the car door, took her by the hand and took her away. A criminal case has been initiated.
