A resident of the Murmansk region was sentenced to 13 years for treason

The Murmansk regional court has announced the verdict of Russian citizen Artem Konstantinov, who was found guilty of high treason. He was sentenced to 13 years in a strict regime colony. This was reported by the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) in an official statement on February 18.
According to the investigation, Konstantinov contacted via Telegram with representatives of the Ukrainian armed formation and agreed to join it to participate in hostilities against Russia.
It is noted that in 2022 he had already been issued a warning about the inadmissibility of such actions. However, despite this, Konstantinov continued contacts with a foreign intelligence service, which was confirmed as a result of operational-search activities.
Based on the materials of the investigation, a criminal case was opened under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Russia (treason).
On February 14, it was reported that the Rostov Regional Court announced the verdict of the Russian citizen Evgenia Ryabova, who is accused of treason, sentencing her to 13 years of general regime colony. It was specified that in January 2023 Ryabova contacted a representative of the Ukrainian security services and transmitted information in messenger about the location of military facilities that could be used against Russia's security.
