Sweden defeats USA at the Four Nations Tournament

The Swedish national hockey team defeated the USA national team at the Four Nations Tournament. The meeting took place on February 18 and ended with a score of 2:1.

The winners scored goals by Gustav Nykvist and Jesper Bratt. Chris Kreider scored for the opponents.

At the end of the tournament, the Swedish team took third place in the standings and did not reach the finals.

The teams of Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States play each other in a round-robin format. The tournament is organized by the National Hockey League (NHL) and features only NHL players.

Also on this day, Team Canada defeated Team Finland in a 5-3 victory in the Four Nations Tournament. The final match between the U.S. and Canada will be held on February 21.
