VK Advertising has adapted the cabinet for the Chinese audience. This was reported on Tuesday, February 18, in the press service of VK.
It is noted that the Chinese language is available in the settings of the personal account, and users have access to the same functions as Russian residents. We are talking about, among other things, tools for autogeneration of text, visual and video creatives.
"When creating advertising texts, it will be enough to enter a request with a description of a unique product offer (UTP) in Chinese, generative AI will process the request and independently translate texts into Russian," VK said.
The press service added that initially the Chinese language will be available for the offices of advertisers and client offices of agencies, but the adaptation of the service VK Advertising will continue to take into account the requests of advertisers from Asia. It is specified that it is planned to finalize the translation of a number of components of the cabinet.
"We see growing interest in our advertising technologies and increased investment in promotion on our platforms by Chinese advertisers. In 2024, they spent in VK Advertising more than 2.2 billion rubles, this is almost three times more than a year earlier," - said the product director of VK Advertising Yakov Stinsky.
He added that only in the fourth quarter of last year the amount amount amounted to more than 750 million, and such dynamics should continue.
In addition, VK said that the most popular and fastest growing category among Chinese advertisers were games.
In December last year, the press service of VK reported that the total number of content authors admitted to participate in the content monetization program from "VK Video" reached 81 thousand. It was specified that, according to the first results, since the launch of the average income of authors has increased by 2.5 times.
