In North Ossetia, the movement of all types of transport through the checkpoint Verkhny Lars has been suspended. This is reported by the Federal Customs Service (FCS) in Telegram-channel on February 18.

"Due to deteriorating weather conditions, the movement through the checkpoint Upper Lars in the direction of the exit from the Russian Federation is suspended for all types of transport: including passenger cars," the statement said.

It is not yet known when the traffic will be restored.
