The shooting of the multi-part historical drama "Prince Andrew" has been completed in Moscow. This was reported on February 18 on the official website of the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

It is noted that filming took place in Suzdal, Vladimir, Bogolyubov and Tver, as well as in Moscow in the film park "Moskino". The director of the film was David Tkebuchava.

Also for the atmosphere of historical authenticity in the film park were erected large-scale scenery of the ancient city-fortress Bogolyubovo in the style of Vladimir-Suzdal architecture.

"The shooting location includes the princely court with the interiors of chambers, chambers of light and church. Observance of historical authenticity in the construction of secular and church stone buildings of the Russian Middle Ages, richly decorated with white stone carvings with plant motifs and zooanthropomorphic decor walls and door arches - all this helped in the creation of the picture," - noted in the message.

It is indicated that the actions of the movie unfolds in ancient Russia XII century, during the internecine wars of the princes of the Rurikovich family.
