- Russian Armed Forces servicemen told about "accumulation points" in the frontline zone of the DNR

The continuous improvement of strike and reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has made the delivery of cargo to the front lines a particularly dangerous task. One of the new solutions to the problem is the organization by the Russian home front services of underground "accumulation points" in the front line. "Izvestia" learned how the "accumulator" works in the 87th rifle regiment of the 51st Donetsk Army.
"The accumulator is made in order to deliver the necessary things to the fighter in the shortest possible time when the shoulder of supply increases. For this purpose we have everything here, everything is prepared. 10-15 kilometers is a normal distance today to be able to deliver. Before, there were no such points, because the front line was much closer to our points, and we could immediately deliver the necessary supplies from the rear. And now, when we are advancing, we make such accumulators: clothing, food and others," explained the commander of the support platoon with the call sign Kaban.
The "accumulator" has stocks of VKPO 2.0 uniform sets, shoes, sleeping bags and much more. There is also a small fitting room in the storehouse, where you can change the clothes of those who left the front line before rotation or new tasks. The station has made sleeping quarters to house people during rotations if needed.
"To deliver food to the guys on the front line, there is a tray group, a delivery group, who on motorcycles or on foot deliver this to the fighters on the front line," Kaban said.
