Two explosions occurred aboard the tanker Seajewel off the coast of Italy

Two explosions were heard on the oil tanker Seajewel off the coast of the Italian city of Savona. This was reported by the newspaper Fatto Quotidiano on February 17.
"Investigations are underway in Savona to shed light on a leak discovered in the hull of the oil tanker Seajewel, a Maltese-flagged vessel that arrived from Algeria and moored in the buoy field of the Ligurian port on Friday, February 14." Details of the story are not yet clear. The crew reported hearing two loud pops and a hole was found in the hull," the newspaper reported.
It is reported that prosecutors are currently not ruling out any options, from a malfunction on the ship to a collision with an explosive object.
Earlier, on February 9, a cargo ship ran aground in the Nevelsky district of the Sakhalin region. There were 20 crew members on board and they were in constant contact with each other.
