Mathematics and physics are the hardest subjects for schoolchildren in Russia. This was shown by a survey of the service "Profi. ru", the results of which were reported by "Gazeta.Ru" on February 18.

Of the surveyed parents of students, 54% said that their children have the hardest time with technical subjects, such as math (29%) and physics (24%). The third place among the most difficult subjects was occupied by Russian language (12%), and the fourth place - by chemistry (10%).

At the same time, the least difficulties among pupils are caused by humanities: history, literature and foreign language, which scored 7%, 6% and 4% respectively.

According to statistics, the most demanded subjects for additional training of schoolchildren are also mathematics (23%) and physics (18%), the third place was occupied by foreign language classes (16%). There is also an increased demand for such subjects as Russian language (13%) and chemistry (8%).

According to 32% of respondents, the main problem in learning is the lack of motivation in a child, which can be given by a tutor. Also, 18% of respondents point to a similar problem: the teacher does not find an approach to the child.

In addition, 16% of respondents stated that the main obstacle to learning the curriculum is the high load on children. And only 11% claim that schoolchildren lose interest in the subject despite an individual approach.

On January 29, Victoria Podsukhina, a teacher and head of regional teaching of MAXIMUM Education company, shared with Izvestia tips on how to develop diligence and increase children's concentration. She noted that a typical problem is putting things off for later. Such behavior negatively affects productivity. Therefore, the child should solve tasks in the time allotted for them and with a set frequency. In this way, the habit of doing them regularly develops.
