Mi-28 helicopter crew strikes the AFU in the border area of Kursk region

An army aviation crew on a Mi-28 helicopter as part of a mixed tactical group has struck personnel and armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with air missiles in the border area of Kursk Region. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry on February 18.
"In the course of the combat mission to support units of the North group, pilots of the Army aviation carried out missile launches at specified coordinates. After the strike, the crews performed anti-missile maneuvering at extremely low altitude with the firing of heat traps preventing enemy MANPADS missiles from hitting," the Defense Ministry said.
The ministry also specified that the advanced aviation gunner confirmed the destruction of all AFU targets.
On February 17, the Uragan MLRS units struck the temporary deployment points of the AFU. Long-range MLRS units also provide fire support to attack aircraft, destroying deployment points, disrupting the delivery of materiel and manpower, and disrupting the enemy's logistics in the rear area.
