Concerts, master classes and excursions will be held at VDNKh on Defender of the Fatherland Day

Concerts, master classes, lectures, performances and excursions will be held at VDNKh for the Defender of the Fatherland Day. This was told by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"On February 23, VDNH invites you to get acquainted with military professions, taste the dishes of the field kitchen and listen to the performances of artists. In total, the citizens and tourists are waiting for more than 30 events", - said the Deputy Mayor.

Near pavilion 1 "Central" will show the show "Russian superheroes". Its participants will be athletes - they will demonstrate their strength and agility.

In the center "Cosmonautics and Aviation" will organize tours "Heroes of Space", during which, in particular, will tell about the military past of astronauts. And during the sightseeing street walk "Men's Images at VDNKh" guests will be introduced to the history of the exhibition and its monuments.

Visitors to the pavilion "House of Russian Cuisine" will be offered to appreciate the dishes of the field kitchen. The menu includes pea soup with lard, flotsam pasta and Suvorov's porridge.

Young visitors are invited to the Atom Museum. For them they prepared master classes "Technics in a manly way", during which the guys will get acquainted with the basics of physics and conduct experiments with a hydraulic machine.

At the exhibition "Robostation" will organize creative classes and a lecture on the history of cryptography.

On the day of the holiday there will be a number of actions at VDNKh. For example, visitors of the family theme park "Orion", who come in uniform, with awards or certificates of the participant of military operations, will be able to take a free ride on the cable car of the exhibition together with their loved ones.

The main events of the VDNKh program dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day will be held within the framework of the large-scale seasonal project "Winter in Moscow".
