A 78-year-old man in Tula lost 6 million roubles because of fraudsters. The police are conducting an investigation into the incident.

According to the victim, in one of the messengers he received a message allegedly from the chief accountant of the company where he was employed. The interlocutor said that "FSB officers" would contact the Tula man. Soon the man received a call from a stranger, who said that from the account of the victim someone allegedly trying to write off all the funds. About it writes TSN24.

The man for several days transferred savings to different accounts. The amount of transfers amounted to about 4 million rubles. In addition, the swindlers persuaded the Tula man to sell the car. The money from the sale the man also transferred to a foreign account.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact.

A total of 16 residents of the Tula region suffered from the actions of fraudsters last week. The total damage amounted to 15.7 million rubles.
