Weather forecaster Shuvalov told about the weather in Moscow in the coming week


February will be the coldest month of the current winter. Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said about it on Monday, February 17.
"Until the end of the week, the temperature will be lower than usual for this time of year. We have the coldest days today and tomorrow, with night temperatures from -10 to -15 and daytime temperatures from -5 to -10 degrees. Then on Wednesday, a little snow is expected," the forecaster said in a conversation with Radio 1.
According to him, a rise in temperature is expected in the second half of the week.
"Night temperatures of the order of -8... -13 degrees, and daytime temperatures of -2.... -6. This February is a little cooler than last year. But January was colder there", - concluded Shuvalov.
In turn, leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Mikhail Leus said that in Moscow updated the temperature minimum of the year, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".
Earlier in the day, leading specialist of the information agency "Meteonovosti" Tatyana Pozdnyakova said that the nights in Moscow and the Moscow region this week will be quite cold, although there will be a tendency to reduce the frosty situation. According to her, more dramatic changes in the direction of warming are expected in the capital region after February 23.
The weather forecaster told kp.ru that until the end of the working week in the capital and the Moscow region without thaws, but the frost is already milder: at night about -10 degrees, during the day -4 ... -6 degrees. She added that there are no more new waves of cold in the forecasts. Snowfalls are not expected until the end of the month, RT reports.
