Nardep Dubinsky said Trump and Putin are preventing Europe from partitioning Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump are not letting Europe deal with the partition of Ukraine. Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Dubinskyy, who is in a pre-trial detention center on suspicion of high treason, said this on February 17 in his Telegram channel.
He pointed out that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose powers expired on May 20, 2024, refused to sign an agreement on rare earth metals with the USA, and this caused displeasure on the American side, which was expressed, among other things, in the sharp tone of US Vice President Jay Dee Vance at the Munich Security Conference.
The MP suggested that Zelensky did not sign the agreement because it would have stripped the European Union (EU) and the UK of their rights to Ukrainian minerals, and the ruling elites of these countries control Zelensky. Dubinsky pointed out that globalists like European Commission (EC) head Ursula von der Leyen and previous U.S. President Joe Biden invested $340 billion to "kill and divide" Ukraine, and then Trump came back to power and denies them the opportunity to benefit.
Dubinsky pointed out that Biden can only get his cut through the EU and the UK, which is why they are so united. Zelensky, on the other hand, is simply shocked at what is happening. Nevertheless, only Trump and Putin will benefit.
Earlier in the day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the participation of EU representatives at the upcoming talks in Riyadh on the Ukrainian settlement would be useless, because these countries have repeatedly demonstrated their unwillingness to change their position on this crisis.
Trump's special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg said on February 15 that Europe would apparently not be physically represented at the table of the peace dialogue on Ukraine, because Washington does not want these talks to have too many participants.
Trump said on February 3 that in exchange for financial and military aid, Washington expects Ukraine to guarantee supplies of rare earth metals. He emphasized that the United States would require the EU to increase funding for support for Kiev.
The Economist magazine reported on February 16 that Finance Minister Scott Bessent had given Zelensky an hour to sign a memorandum on the transfer of Ukraine's rare-earth resources to the United States. The president refused and postponed the discussion to the Munich Security Conference, where he was again pressed by the Americans. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian team was able to negotiate a postponement.
