The meeting of Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov and his colleague from the Republic of Angola Elder Fernando Pitta Grosz took place in Moscow. This was reported on February 17 on the website of the department.

Krasnov emphasized the importance of such visits to strengthen professional ties. He noted the importance of educational resources, first of all, for the exchange of experience and confirmed the readiness of Russian prosecutors to come to Angola to hold events on topical issues.

As Krasnov noted, cybercrime is a threat to world security in general, and only a coordinated approach is required to fight it.

"As you know, last December the UN General Assembly approved a draft convention against cybercrime. I emphasize, this Russian initiative and emerged within the walls of the agency I head," said the Russian Prosecutor General.

The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has prepared a draft program of cooperation for 2025-2026, which will be signed at the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Krasnov invited the Angolan colleague, noting that the forum traditionally includes a session on the protection of businessmen's rights and ensuring legality in the economy.

Earlier, on January 13, it was reported that in Russia, 65% of the analyzed companies have a low level of security. Attacks on them can cause critical damage, lead to the suspension of key business processes and financial losses. This was stated in the results of a study by the information security company Bastion.
