Russian military destroy Polish SAU in Sumy region with Lancet

The Russian military grouping North has destroyed a Krab self-propelled artillery unit (SAU) from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in Sumy Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on February 17.

It is indicated that the aerial reconnaissance spotted a self-propelled gun of Polish manufacture with the calculation in a forest belt.

"After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to fire at the enemy's SAU. The detected target was successfully hit by a direct hit of a Lancet barrage munition," the ministry said.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense reported that the scouts of the group "North" destroyed an American-made M113 armored personnel carrier in Kharkiv region. The vehicle was targeted by an FPV drone.
