Russian military destroyed an AFU armored personnel carrier in Kharkiv region

On 17 February, the Russian Defence Ministry presented footage of the destruction of an M113 armoured personnel carrier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) by the "North" group of troops in Kharkiv Region.

According to the ministry, a reconnaissance unit detected the AFU armored vehicles in a wooded area with the help of aerial reconnaissance equipment. After analyzing the situation, it was decided to strike.

The scouts stealthily moved into the combat zone and, choosing a convenient moment, the operator of the FPV-drone made a targeted hit, destroying the armored personnel carrier made in the United States. The process of hitting the enemy's equipment was monitored in real time by aerial reconnaissance.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry reported that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed an American Abrams tank, a launcher and a radar station of the Norwegian NASAMS surface-to-air missile system, which belonged to the AFU.
