New Sinotruk Bolden S6 pickup truck to be sold in Russia
In the first half of 2025, sales of the new Sinotruk Bolden S6 pickup truck are planned to start in Russia. This is stated in the message of the distributor of the VGV brand in Russia, Motor Place Company, which was received by Izvestia on February 17.
In the model lineup, the more utilitarian model will join the "urban" version of the Bolden S7, which was announced earlier.
The Bolden S6 is equipped with a rear leaf spring suspension. In the base version, the vehicle is equipped with a manual transmission and Part-time all-wheel drive system, but a modification with automatically connected all-wheel drive (Real-Time) with reduction gear will also be available.
Like the Bolden S7, the new S6 is powered by a 177 hp (410 Nm) WP2H turbodiesel engine. The car will be available in several configurations, providing different dimensions. The curb weight of the short-wheelbase version is 2,085 kg and the dimensions are 5365×1895×1890 mm. The long-wheelbase pickup has a curb weight of 2135 kg, and the length is 5645 mm. There are a total of four configurations of the Bolden S6.
The equipment list includes a standard multimedia system, dual-zone climate control (for the configuration with automatic transmission) and heated front seats.
Earlier in the day, AvtoVAZ announced that it is preparing a kit update for the Lada Vesta model in various modifications. This "Izvestia" was reported in the press service of the company in response to a query about why in the price lists of the family "Vesta" in front of many sets of 2024 model year appeared the mark "not produced", including all versions of Vesta Cross.
On February 14, JAC announced that it is going to localize cars in Russia. One of the first models to be assembled in the country will be a pickup truck T9. It is planned that the first localized cars will appear this summer.
