In Pervouralsk, a man was sentenced to 18 years for the murder of his two-year-old stepdaughter

The Sverdlovsk regional court sentenced a resident of Pervouralsk for the murder of the two-year-old daughter of his cohabitant to 18 years of imprisonment in a strict regime penal colony. This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office on February 17.

According to the investigation, from October to December 2023, the convict systematically used violent actions to his stepdaughter, being in a state of drug intoxication. In addition, inflicted numerous blows to the girl's head, tied her hands behind her back with insulating tape and left the child in this position for several hours. In December of the same child died from numerous injuries.

"The young man was found guilty of committing crimes under part 4 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing serious harm to the health of a minor"), paragraph "e" of part 2 of article 127 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal deprivation of human freedom, in respect of a minor"), paragraphs "d", "e", part 2 of article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Torture committed in respect of a minor")", - stated in the Telegram-channel.

Earlier, February 10, the resident of the city of Tashtagol Kemerovo region increased the punishment for the torture of a year and a half old daughter. Thus, the woman was sentenced to three years and two months of imprisonment with a fine of 5 thousand rubles.
