Cosmetologist Yulia Nemilova told on Monday, February 17, about how safe injectable cosmetology is. The expert named injectable procedures that can cause harm.

According to Yulia Nemilova, the most important thing when choosing an injection procedure is a responsible approach and a serious choice of a specialist.

"Address only to qualified doctors-cosmetologists with appropriate education and experience. Do not entrust your beauty and health to dubious salons and masters at home," the cosmetologist advised in a conversation with RuNews24.ru.

The expert noted that the most dangerous procedure is injections of non-absorbable fillers - silicone, biopolymer gel.

"These fillers do not resorb over time, which can lead to chronic inflammation, formation of granulomas (seals) and tissue deformation. Removing these fillers is a difficult and traumatic procedure. Give preference to preparations based on hyaluronic acid, which over time resorb and do not cause irreversible effects, "- explained the specialist.

Nemilova noted that Botox injections are dangerous because incorrect dosage or uncorrected injection of Botox can lead to drooping eyelids or eyebrows (ptosis), violation of facial expression, facial asymmetry and other undesirable effects.

This drug requires high qualification of the doctor and accurate knowledge of facial anatomy, emphasized the doctor.

Injection lipolysis - a method aimed at destroying fat cells with the help of injections of special drugs - is dangerous because unprofessional performance of procedures can lead to skin burns, scarring and other consequences.

"An alternative may be, for example, hardware cosmetology, cryolipolysis," - advised Nemilova.

Earlier, on January 14, "Izvestia" reported that a Moscow resident died in a cosmetology clinic in Basmanny district. Information about the death of the salon visitor was confirmed by Roszdravnadzor, the agency's employees are investigating the circumstances of the incident, RT reports.

Moscow investigators began to establish the circumstances of the death of a patient in a private cosmetology clinic on Rubtsovskaya embankment, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

Dermatologist, trichologist and cosmetologist Tatyana Egorova told NSN that lipolytics can cause allergies, but doctors with extensive experience will definitely not inject their patients with uncertified drugs.

January 25, plastic surgeon Georgi Karapetyan told aif.ru that self-injection of any drug is associated with traumatization of the skin, subcutaneous structures, vessels, nerves, which carries the risk of complications and irreparable consequences up to death.

In turn, plastic surgeon Nadezhda Rozhdestvenskaya warned that beauty injections are particularly dangerous for eyesight, reports 360.ru.
